Meeting Your Needs
POWDER COATING
Advanced Finishing’s core business started in Powder Coating. Our capabilities include large production runs, large parts, and two-part powder coating. We coat multiple metals, using epoxy, polyester, Teflon, and a variety of finishes. We use creative fixturing to maximize production.
Advanced Finishing USA and A-Tex have more than 45 years of combined expertise in powder coating of architectural, automotive, rail, aviation, military and other products. Our powder coating is used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. It is primarily used for the coating of metals and aluminum.
Whether your job requires a functional or aesthetic finish, Advanced Finishing USA specializes in providing durable coatings that add value to your product. Our powder coating and wet painting services provide protection from corrosion, the environment, and electric shock. Our proprietary aesthetic and architectural powder coating services can add that snap that makes your end product stand out and demand attention.
Advanced Finishing is at the forefront in offering anti-microbial finishing for surfaces that are susceptible to the spread of disease in high traffic public and healthcare settings.
WHAT IS POWDER COATING?
Powder coating is a free-flowing, dry powder. The difference between a liquid coating (paint finish) and powder is that powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler part in a liquid suspension form. The powder coating is typically applied electro-statically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a more durable finish.
POWDER COATING APPLICATIONS
From doors and windows, to outdoor furniture and lighting. From structural steel to flagpoles, bollards, railings and murals we have the experience you can trust to make your vision come to life. Advanced Finishing offers a wide range of possibilities such as:

- Ability to coat long extrusions up to 25’ with a continuous coating
- Ability to coat large items up to 9,000 pounds
- Decoral licensee for wood grain, stone, marble, logo, custom and abstract design finishes.
If your architectural application must stand up to the extreme weather and UV conditions you will be pleased to know Advanced Finishing USA adheres to AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) specifications for aluminum applications.
